About Chuck Elsey
Prior to opening his law practice within the LISD, Chuck spent eighteen years in the oil and gas business, both as an entrepreneur and as a senior executive, engaged extensively in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, business transactions, operations, and labor issues. Chuck has served in the capacity as President and COO for large corporations. Following his career in oil and gas, Chuck spent thirteen years as an adviser, consultant and counselor to company Boards, Chairman and CEO’s on a variety of issues for both small and large companies, including Fortune 500 Companies with operations throughout the world.
Chuck has been married to his high school sweetheart since 1972 and has three adult children and seven grandchildren. Chuck is a member of the Bent Tree Bible Church and formerly served as a deacon at First Baptist Church, Lewisville. Chuck was selected as the 2013 Flower Mound Citizen of the Year and was also voted the Best Business Lawyer and the Best Oil and Gas Lawyer in Denton County multiple years.
Chuck is dedicated to the communities in which he lives, works, and represents. He volunteers for various schools, cities, committees, and non-profit organizations in the Denton County area. Honors and activities include, but are not limited to:
